Today is my 20th birthday I was born on 25th July 2000.
2000 was big year as it was the last of the 20th century and it was the second millennium which went off with a bang and it was a massive celebration and it was the first opening of the millennium dome and hundreds of people lined up on the river Thames
to watch the fantastic firework display
Music in the year 2000 had some successful albums such as Britney Spears 'Oops I did it again', Robbie Williams 'Sing when your winnin', Atomic Kitten 'Right now', Sugababes 'One touch' and Westlife 'Coast to Coast'.
But music has changed over the 20 years and I am not so keen on some, but I do like some current artists such as Billie Eilish.
The taste and sound of music has changed as all the dance and r&b music is popular these days.
Technology of 2000 was lots different as the internet was not as popular as it is now. before iPhones came the popular phone at the time was the Nokia 8210 and televisions used to be shaped like a box and were not flatscreen and digital tv started coming in.
In 2000 tv shows were celebrating milestones such as Coronation Street celebrating its 40th anniversary and some new tv shows graced the millennium such as big brother and BBC comedy My Family and Judith Keppel was the first ever winner of who wants to be a millionaire.
The song that was number 1 when I was born was Ronan Keating 'Life is a Rollercoaster'.
Big Brother started 20 years ago this month.
It feels good to be 20 years old and I feel a lot more younger and mature as a person.
