I went on holiday to Lulworth Cove in Dorset with my family. The cottage we stayed in was in a lovely bit of countryside. The cottage was pretty nice itself. While small, on the outside and inside it had a pleasant, old-fashioned design and homely

atmosphere.

We walked across nearby hills that were big enough to give us utterly magnificent views of the surrounding landscapes.

One particular thing of notice to me that we did was go to Swanage, a seaside town I fondly remember going to when I was younger. It just reminded me of happier and simpler times. The town was mostly the same as I remember it which lifted my spirits.

However, one thing that was gone was the caravan park. It was replaced with some houses and was a big downer for me because I would never be able to have a holiday there the same way I could all those years ago. My favourite part of the holiday was Weymouth. The whole thing was an unexpected surprise for me. The beach was huge and included activities for everyone.

The shopping centre was really big and was where I bought a sweet pair of sunglasses and my brother bought a mug of a certain comic book variety. But the icing on the cake was going to the huge nearby island called Portland. It was connected to Weymouth by a long stretch of land, which was a chore just to drive across but when me and my family got there, we were absolutely stunned by views of the sea and the island’s fields
