#iDareToInspire

"We should start a magazine" said 13 year old

Megan. So that's what we did. Just like that.

Kinda.

With the support of the amazingly generous people at Wiltshire Community Foundation and the #iWill Youth Social Action Fund, #iDare was born during a rainy February half term week in 2019!

The team of 12 trailblazing young people came together to set up the magazine, choose the branding, designed the website, set up the social media, and organise their launch event in March 2019.

Since then 25 young people have worked on the project producing over 100 bits of content across 9 magazine editions. Every single one of them has had an incredible journey, and it has been a privilege to be part of it.

We've had team members who have lost parents, suffered with really quite debilitating mental health issues, and battle discrimination on a number of fronts, as well as go on to secure jobs, start apprenticeships, and launch their own blogs.

And we couldn't have delivered any of this if it weren't for our amazing volunteers, partners and readers, so thank you for helping us make this a reality.

Watching these young people develop into young adults has been an inspiration, and #iDare you to help them continue their journey.
